AV Specialist magazine has announced the appointment of Michael Mitchell as their regional business manager for North America. Michael will be responsible for all media sales relating to AV Specialist's print and digital activities, as well as The Channel magazine - the official publication for the Association for International Broadcasting.

Michael is specifically tasked with helping North American companies expand their footprint across Africa and the Middle East. "Over the last two decades I've seen AV Specialist's influence expand across the Africa continent into the Middle East," he says. "They are undoubtedly the leading magazine for the broadcast and professional AV industry in that part of the world and are recognized for their commitment to professional standards, as well as their original and innovative content."
In addition to representing AV Specialist, Mitchell also represents both TVB Europe and Installation Europe, as well as show dailies for the IBC and IS Europe exhibitions. By targeting the strengths of these titles and events he's able to help clients structure a unique marketing program that covers the broadcast and proAV markets across the EMEA region.
AV Specialist was launched in 1991 and is distributed to broadcast and AV professionals in more than 40 countries across Africa and the Middle East.
