During the upcoming Cabsat exhibition, AV Specialist has partnered with the International Association of Broadcast Manufacturers (IABM) and MECIA to present a discussion forum that will focus on the challenge of building the broadcast infrastructure in the Middle East.

This follows on the success of a similar event held during the 2007 show and brings together a select group of senior broadcasters, suppliers, analysts and industry commentators for a discussion centred on the changing business models for technology supply; skills, resources and technical training in the Middle East; Impact of global financial issues on business in the region; adoption patterns for emerging media technologies; and creating effective partnerships for long term success.

This is an ‘invitation-only’ event and attendance numbers are strictly limited. “It’s only when the senior members of our industry sit down to share ideas that we get a clear understanding of our future needs,” says AV Specialist publisher Kevan Jones. “By contributing to the collective knowledge, Middle East broadcasters make sure their voice is heard in the global evolution of the industry.”
