| InfoComm and AV Specialist announce partnership to bring AV certification to the Middle East |
|
In a co-operative arrangement between AV Specialist and InfoComm International, the two organisations are partnering to bring AV certification training and testing to the Middle East and Africa. InfoComm and AV Specialist will also work to raise awareness of the benefits of participation in InfoComms’ Certified Audio Visual Solutions Provider (CAVSP) programme. The partnership kicked off during late April with a 3-day course designed to educate professionals in the science and technology behind AV systems and help them achieve certification. “If you know how and why things work, you can apply this knowledge to new technologies and applications as they develop, and more effectively solve problems and meet your clients’ needs,” explains Jonathan Seller, regional manager for Infocomm.
“To date almost 5 thousand AV professionals have already earned this distinctive credential.” InfoComm International is the premier trade association for the professional audiovisual communications industry, representing 3600 members in 60 countries. InfoComm International is the founder of InfoComm, the conference and trade exposition for audiovisual communications professionals who come to learn about the latest technologies and available services, as well as new and alternative applications.
