AV Specialist has been appointed as the official publication for the Cabsat broadcast conference-taking place in Dubai during early March 2006. “This relationship expands on our involvement at last years conference and we’re now working even more closely with the Cabsat organizers to secure sponsorship and select appropriate papers for the conference,” explains AV Specialist publisher Kevan Jones.
“Immediately after IBC we’ll call for papers and interested speakers will have the opportunity to submit a synopsis of their presentation to the ABU for evaluation.” The conference is run by the Asia-Pacific Broadcast Union and ASBU and is designed to update broadcasters on the latest developments in digital television.
