During this year’s IBC party held at the Okura Hotel in Amsterdam AV Specialist’s Kevan Jones and Pejman Ghorbani were caught in the spotlight by Marion van der Wiel, a caricature artist entertaining guests at the event.

Pejman is very pleased with his likeness and has dared publisher Kevan Jones to post it on the website.
“He doesn’t believe I’ll post the picture onto the website because he looks so much more handsome than I do,” says Kevan, “but he has a 20-year age advantage so it’s not surprising that he’s depicted as young and handsome while Marion has enhanced my girth and accentuated my balding pate.

The picture was drawn in good humour and at least she’s kept my smile.”
Pejman is the Farsi-language editor for AV Specialist’s regional edition covering the Islamic Republic of Iran and is based at the new office in Tehran.

Kevan is the founder and publisher of AV Specialist and is based at Dubai Media City in the United Arab Emirates.
